This is the email i wrote to immigration department. And also my
agent helped me to write one letter in chinese version and fax to
immigration dept too.
""Because my old domestic helper's performance is not up to
standard, so we have terminated contract with her on 20 sept 06. And we have
applied for a new one for a replacement. Becase we are living with my
mother-in-law who got hypertension, diabetes and cataract with poor eye
sight, she needs someone to take care of her. It's very dangerous for
her to stay at home alone. So my husband has applied a new domestic
helper and got the VCA number xxxxx on 17 august already. We applied
early because we want to minimize the waiting time for the new visa but
it's already been more than 6 weeks after we have got the VCA number.
Now we have already terminated contract with the original one and
waiting for the new domestic helper, named Sxxxxxx, visa to be issued.
Both my husband and i have to work full time and my husband is currectly
out of town for business trip and i have to work from monday to sunday,
7 days a week. So it's very dangerous to leave my mother-in-law at
home alone. She got a few accidents at home already. It's even more
dangerous if she needed to cook for herself, and that's what she needs to
do now.
I have already tried to phone the hotline of the immigration
department for help but still no reply. The coming weekend is a long weekend
again but i have to work even on holidays and my husband is out of town.
We worried so much the safety of my mother-in-law. So I will be very
grateful if the Visa can be issued as soon as possible so that the
domestic helper can come and take care of my mother-in-law as soon as
possible.
I would be very grateful if you can give me a prompt reply and issued
the visa as soon as possible. Thank you very much!
