I have a 'friend' who started low and now is director and managing director of several companies and put all these 'glories' on his name card(s). He isn't rich and doesn't even have savings for investment. He looks happy and is surrounded by 'friends'. You know what, the best 'friend' he's got is me but we haven't talked about personal things for over 5 years.
He is not liked by his family, even his mom. His younger brother got divorced becasue of his bad advice given to his brother to invest in his compan(ies). The longest time he's ever had with a woman is the present one - 3 months. His 'freinds' are all strictly business. He isn't even married. I doubt he will ever be.
My point is - there are so many poeple who look glamourous but they are sad little pity. They make themselves so. Don't pity yourself. Don't feel sorry about yourself. I personally think you are doing great. Like what 糯米B said, when you've come thru and look back in a few years' time, you will see that this suffering can even be blessing - only that you don't think it is, yet.

My point is - it's blessing to him now but it will become sufferings one day to him. I don't mean to curse him. It's just natural for him to turn into an nasty old brat when he turns old and loses his earning/working capacity.
STand up. Turn your suffering into blessing. Wish you all good luck.
For your sweet little girl, try to think in such a way. That is, what and how you deal with the situation today will be copied by her. I mean the attitude, the perseverance, the opyimistic side of your character, the steel in your will and, most importantly, the value of family members (now, it's the 2 of you, maybe later, the 3 of you.)
If you decide to leave your husband, it may mean later on (if you have successfully come thur) he will change and become dependent on you, thus the whole family again.
PS. I still don't think a father like your husband can be called a father when the baby girl is only 8mths old and he can risk her being outside ina rainy day without an umbrella. I am sorry if I offend you by saying the following : Is this an animal?
