About one year ago, my mother lent 300 thousand dollars to my brother and his wife to pay for the first intallment of their flat and they singed a loan contract in which they promised to return $1000 each month to my mother. However they have never returned any money to my mother. Moreover my brother and his wife are getting a divorce and thus going to sell their flat. Under such condition, can my mother get the total amount back as they have broken the contract?
