For me, I gradually pump less and less.
For example, I pump 3 times a day i.e. Morning, lunch and evening. I keep pumping milk in the morming and night.
And do the following to stop pumping milk during lunch.
There are 2 approaches :
(1) if you pump 6 ozs before, I will pump 4-5 ozs then stop. Don't PUMP清, otherwise, your milk level will maintain. Then next time 3-4 ozs.......it takes me 1 week or 2 (I can't remember as few years ago) then no need to pump milk during lunch.
(2) delay the milk-pumping timing...e.g. I used to pump at 1:30pm, I will delay it to 2:30..then 4:00pm....then finally after work.....and finally skip the pumping. Of course, it depends if you can escape from work during office hour.
For pumping milk at night, I use (2) approach i.e. delay the milk pumping time...e.g. 11:00pm to 2:00am....then gradually skip the pumping....
