我一家回流咗返香港十年多, 而家女女考慮緊日後升學及就業問題.

女女想試下報讀醫科, 香港雖然競爭好大, 但佢都算有機會同人爭下.未必唔得. 澳洲學位比較多, 但競爭其實唔小得幾多, 但就會無人响身邊照顧佢.

而且佢仲未決定日後是否一定留港定係返澳洲, 學位同專業認可資格又係一個好重要因素影響佢的決定

我知澳洲畢業回港執業就一定要再考試. 現時香港醫生到澳洲執業又有什麼關卡呢?? 假如英國畢業又有没有不同呢?

請各位俾少少資料或者意見, 感激萬分!

香港讀MBBS 畢業要到OZ做GP都要考牌的(專科唔知)。好似都幾難因為system唔同。同好似每人只有兩次考試定Fail機會。就算考到個board都可能比license restrictions.
所以最重要想清楚想喺邊度Stay.

P.s. 我啲資訊唔一定全對，因為都係聽其他人講and policy may change from time to time. Better verify before making any decisions.

澳洲考醫都好大競爭, 除咗成績要在 top 1% 之內 ,
重要考 Umat, 如果呢兩樣分數都能達標, 最後還要通過面試.
英國醫學位比澳洲更多, 你可以留意下.

係呀! 我都聽過IB 未夠40分英國都有機會. HK IB 就要貼近45分.
但請問其實英國畢業的話, 返澳洲執業又會有什麼關卡??

我雖然唔知你個女現在讀幾多年級,但如果諗住喺香港考完 DSE 先申請嚟澳洲讀醫,
你將會繳交留學生學費.

英國畢業的話, 返澳洲執業又會有什麼關卡? -----> 呢樣我唔知.
但聽我親戚講留學生在英國讀醫要自己搵到實習先可以畢業,
而澳洲係會有實習安排.

Just a little bit update, if you are not PR or Citizen, you may not able to find a job I australia after you hard, also for placement, they give all the space to PR and Citzen first

Thank you all for your reply. They are very informative to us, at least as a starting point.

Yes, my daugter is an Australian citizen and she holds an Australian passport. She is now studying in an international school in HK for IBDP, and she is not taking DSE. (Thank god that she is not taking DSE! Chinese is really really difficult.)

And because of her citizenship, she will not be able to apply as an oversea student and she will apply as a domestic student with foreign academic qualifications.

UK has never been our preferred choice because we do not have relatives there. But if she really wants to study medicine and fails to get a place elsewhere, that could be her last resort.

Yes, ...

then that should be fine, but need to consider that some Uni in NSW area, Medicine is a postgrad course, like USYD, UNSW is the only one in NSW offer degree course directly from HSC
