baby food 敏感

i feel so horrible!
I bought a jar of baby food and it was the 1st time I mixed it with the congee (粥) to my boy who is only 10 months old
12 hrs later, he felt itchy(痕癢) & started scratching (抓) all over his body. red patches like insert bites were found on the epidermis (表皮) from head to toe, he cried and cried.....
I took him to see the pediatrics (兒科), after careful examination and the description of the diet taken, he identified that was caused by the baby food! (he had no other new food taken before, only mike and plain congee for the previous 24 hrs). My boy was allergy (敏感) to this food (Should there be any warning on the jar?)
That was only ONE TINY SPOONFUL I given! I still feel like feeding him poison (毒藥) making him feeling so terrible, which was totally avoidable! My heart is breaking.
That was MIX VEGETABLE from HEINZ
