Thanks.

So even for AOS it is online?I need my dad to be the joint sponsor, so it may actually be easier that way.

Is it faster with the online submission as no need to wait for scan date and case complete?

Yes, you need to submit I-864 online.

I am still gathering the documents.But seems it is quite fast, after 2 days I paid the fees, I can submit and upload the documents.
When I completed the ds260 online, it sent out email to remind me to upload the documents in the next day

Yes, you need to submit I-864 online.

Finally my I-130 application for my husband was approve, so we will be moving to the NVC process soon.
Can you let me know what documents do I need?

IRS transcripts x 3 years for me and co-sponsor
I-864 form x 2 for me and co-sponsor
marriage certificate
birth certificate
police certificate

I know that i need to prove intention to move back to the U.S., and is getting that ready as well.

我想問當USCIS pass個case去NVC, NVC係寄信俾我(petitioner)定係我老公架? 因為我入紙嗰陣係香港地址，後尾我同仔仔過咗美國，咁就同USCIS講咗美國地址，而香港間屋都賣咗，老公搬咗番佢阿媽度住，我驚如果佢寄俾我老公既話就會收唔到!

Hi,
NVC will send those letters via Email, followed by Post.

Usually your petitioner and the applicant will receive the same email at the same time, if you have provided both email addresses.

My case was similar in terms of address.
The first welcome letter I received in May 2017 was my old HK address I provided to USCIS in October 2016. By that time we had moved to my sister-in-law address in HK. I used Mail Redirection service by HOng Kong Post and it’s why I continued to get the letter.

Then when we were to complete online DS-260. In June/early July, We filled in new address - the address in US as I knew I would be relocated to US in Aug. By then all letters were addressed to my new US address.

( I tried to change address on USCIS website but couldn’t do it. I gave up. I used mail redirection. And don’t worry - if you gave them email address it would be very fine.

Continue.....

For example ( based on my situations through last year - May through Oct 2017 ) NVC will send you:

NVC Welcome Letter (PAOSF) - email to petitioner and me; letter - separately sent to petitioner to me; address - my old HK address

Checklist cover letter (if they think you miss something) - email to petitioner and me, letter - to petitioner; address - my new US address

Case completion letter - only email to petitioner and me saying the case completed and in process of passing to US Consulate where the applicant lived ( my case was HK); only electronic and no post

Interview letter - email to petitioner and me; letter - sent to me as applicant only and to my NEW address

我入紙I-130嗰陣有交埋form G-1145，咁應該會有我個email喇! 希望快啲收到通知啦，之前俾啲stupid staff已經拖後咗我2個月喇!

Ok, it would be fine.
Just like the NVC sent me letter asking to do a Police Certificate again. I was panic and I sent my question here. One of mommy was very helpful to give me advice.
I called up NVC, clarified and they replied me at one they messed up. They said my case was in completion. Then I received a case completion letter next day.

My experience ( may be good to me not others) was to give a call. Same experience now I work and live in US. They prefer “talking”.

我係收到2次RFE, 第一次佢要結婚證書既certified copy，咁我即刻叫我老公喺香港申請，第二次佢話要大陸既結婚簿仔，我即刻火都嚟埋，打電話去USCIS個hotline，佢淨係同我講佢咩都唔知，話佢叫你交咩就交咩啦，之後我再去USCIS supporting center，嗰度個staff就好好多喇，雖然佢幫唔到我，但佢話好明顯係處理我個case嗰個人唔識又無問其他人啦，點會唔知香港政府既文件係ok既，佢以為回歸咗就要跟中國呀? 個staff叫我寫封信同佢解釋香港一國兩制，結果我寫咗一大篇香港回歸史俾佢
