I spent 8 hours making a 3-D McQueen cake for my son's birthday. See the pictures here (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=16464&id=1477524129&l=c9f02). Hope you can view this link.

I used below ingredients purchased at Citysuper.
- 2 packs of Betty Crocker cake mix
- half can of Betty Crocker frosting
- 6 sticks of Wilton ready icing color (3 red, 1 yellow, 1 black and 1 white; I mixed these colors to get additional colors.)

I took a class on 2-D cake making. Then, I watched many how-to videos at Betty Crocker's website. It was my first time making a 3-D cake. I believe everyone can make one with time and interest. Kids are happier when they see their parents baking for them.
