Dr C K Wong (黃重光) is a very famous child psychiatrist in Hong Kong. He is the Honorary Professor in CUHK. You can make an appointment. However, consultation fee is extremely expensive, which takes plenty thousands.

Forgive me for being frank :

1. I'm not sure about the difference between CP and Psychiatrist, but instead of going to a CP again, would you consider going to a Psy instead ?

2. Knowing that your kid is scared of the "unknown", suggest that you stay away from scary movies ! Do some screening first.

3. Why don't you approach an NGO which specializes in dealing with kids, and ask for a referral.

Dr C K Wong (黃重光) and Dr. Chan Chung-mau (陳仲謀) are the 2 names which came to my head.

I guess you can call their clinic and see whether they are the suitable ppl to handle such a case.

But of course, all private psychiatrists (and all specialists) are expensive.

And did you consult Dr. T ? He seems to be very helpful to BK ppl.

I think you need to seek urgent advice from psychiatrist instead of psychologist as your son has already developed suicidal ideas. It is better to seek medical/psychiatrist advice first as your son may need antidepressive drug, which cannot be prescribed by CP. The psychiatrist may refer you to CP if necessary after assessment. Don't wait anymore.

Dr C K Wong is a very famous psychiatrist in HK. His specialty is child psychiatrist. I had chances to act as an observer many years ago, while he was treating cases of child abuse in Prince of Wales Hospital. He has had started private practice for around 10 years. The consultation fee is really expensive, about $3000. But I think it really worth. He also has a co-partner CP who work with him.

I had read ur post before, and read the story written by ur boy I feel rare that he could write such curel fiction(bk mamis comment) but afraid the samiliar type of movie I cant refer u any doctor but the other mami has, if you need advice from an odinary c9: I think you should try to develope a sport with ur son, let him do more excruise to train up his body, to kill his time from over imaginemation which make him scare finally, pls dun mind if there are many wrong spellings

既然係咁無辦法, 但放心, gsis無local school咁大壓力, 多d問下學校及老師小朋友平日的狀況, 平時多加留意, 多點時間陪佢傾多d偈, 你小朋友應該可以隨年紀增長變得唔需要你同其他屋企人咁擔心啦!
