Anyone has expereince on index fund. I read some books they recommended on investing Indix funds which has less subscription fee (<1% or 0%) and (<0.1%) annual management funds. The performance of the index funds is same as the index such as S&500. The second biggest funds in US is Van500 now. The average growth is around 12%. That is less risk and sounds quite good.
Your finance advisor may not suggest Index funds to you due to no commission. Anyone has experience to share ?
I got a questions here again. As I passive (lazy and non-smart) investor and don't want switching funds often. Just want to have static but resonable return until retirement. Don't need to worry for reviewing funds performance status often. 12% growth (in long run) for S&200 seems be OK.
Thanks for your advice !
I would like to have worldwide protfolio like below.
30% of S& 500, 20% of Russell 2000 and 50% of EAFE (Europe, Australia and Far East).
Some index funds in US offer no subsciption fee and less than 0.1% annual charge.
