LH has program helping kids preparing the interview for private and direct-subsided schools. and thus, it has quite good track record for entering private and direct-subsided schools (which need to enter thr interview.)

For government and subsided schools, the P.1 allocation is NOT related to the kindergarten http://www.edb.gov.hk/FileManager/TC/Content_1511/2010lftc.pdf. It all depends on the kids' background (whether parent is alumni of the primary school, religion, etc) or the location of the kids' residential address. Thus, kindergarten selling how many kids entering famous government schools / subsided schools are actually telling you how many "related" kids or kids with background they have admitted, rather than how they can prepare the kids.

我只係諗...因為學之園教既係非本地課程,咁如果升普通小學,咁會唔會銜接唔到呢?我想個仔學好d英文,因為見學之園d學生講英文好好,想試下個仔考呢間,但冇學卷,我地又唔係高收入人士,三年都頂得住,如果之後小學中學都冇資助,好難捱...

No doubt LH provides excellent language training to kids. But LH's program is not an international one.

Please kindly note that many private and direct-subsided schools are actually using local curriculum (some are even using Chinese as medium of instruction).

即係,家長做sales,住公屋.....冇讀大學咁...

as far as i remember, the interview (re. questions on parents) was about the kid rather than the family background, e.g. who takes care of the kid, where do u usually bring the kid to, sth like that. but they did interview the kid, including a story telling session and also some individual questions/tasks to do.

of course there are fields like address and also occupation of parents in the application form, but i don't recall any information like education level (really cannot remember), or even those like some famous Kln Tong kinder asking u to fill in the name of the primary school the parents graduated. i don't recall LH's application form was as "detailed" as this. but u may wish to ask the school for the form as u can submit application any time (i did that when my boy was around 3 months old). i heard that u can simply email the school for the form and they will mail u the form.
