At 32 weeks, BB's head measures 35 weeks. Is there a problem?
My sister-in-law used to go to government hospital for check-ups and she only started visiting a private doctor last week (when BB is 32 weeks). The private doctor told her that BB's head is 3 weeks bigger but didn't say anything more. She is worried that there is some problem with the baby (but government doctors never told her anything before - may be becuase they don't conduct ultrasound that often?). Anyone has any ideas? Thanks for advice!

don't worry, my first baby was also 2 weeks above average. He is absolutely fine now -- just my delivery was terrible, because of his big head, it was difficult for him to come out smoothly.
now, I have my second baby, also, she is 2 weeks above average and my doctor said it doesn't matter, but I may need to choose to deliver the baby at 38 weeks so as to avoid the same problem before.

Thanks everyone for your advice. My sister-in-law doesn't remember the exact size of the baby's head. She only knows that the head size is 3 weeks bigger than normal. It's good to hear that there is probably nothing to worry about. I will tell her this and may be suggest her to ask the doctor again for more advice during her next visit.
