I do the following to my son when he is below one years old. Although it sounds stupid, it works on him.
I put all the medication in front of him. First, I pump the medication in the 針筒, and in front of my son, I pretend to take it and express that it taste so good and so sweet, then I pass the tub to my husband and he also give the facial expression to my son that it is so good. Then I told my son that I didn't let the father to have the rest, instead I give BB to take it. After several tries, my son starts to grab my tub and express that he also wants it too.
The BB didn't know what is "bitter" or "sweet". They learn things from our words and expression. Now my son is 3 years old, he can chew the pills and swallow it afterwards. I know that he feels strange when chewing it, but I never let him feel that the pill is bitter, not even from words, but even not my facial expression. So he will not against it at the beginning. That's what I learn from my family doctor and it works.
Sorry, how do you know your bb got 氣管炎. My bb got a mild fever starting from Monday, with cough(有痰)and a little bit runny nose. Then we take him to see the doctor and drink some medicine. On Wednesay, it seems that he coughs a lot than we bring him to see doctor again. He says that by bb gets 氣管炎 and prescribe him "antibiotic - augmentin syrup". Since we don't want him to eat antibiotic (my bb is only 3 -month old), so we visit another doctor.
Another doctor says that my bb gets soar throat, not 氣管炎, no need to take antibiotic . Which doctor is right?
My daughter also gets 氣管炎 when she was two months. She cough and with (綠色的痰及鼻涕).
The doctor gave her three medicine
(1)化痰藥-每天三次
(2)antibitoic -每天一次
(3)擴充氣管藥-睡前食 (每天一次)-會昏睡
