several yrs ago, my maid learned how to make soap flower and sew some flower on cloth. I think it's the same as your maid. She told us the truth she will sell them out. We just remind her not to affect the normal job and don't make it too late to sleep. After some period of time, she stop it.
I think you can remind her not to sleep late and don't affect her job.
