Suspect my maid stole money from my husband's wallet
My husband suspect my maid stole $300 from his wallet the other night as he remembered he had the $100 notes insides. But when he goes to work the next morning, on one $50 note left in his wallet. I tried to confront with the maid but of course he denied it as we don't have any evidence. What shall we do!!! I don't want a thief in my house :-( :-( :-(
I don't think this is the first time either

If you have a tiny baby/ small kids taken care by her, I will ask the agent to find a new maid without telling her. When the new maid comes, I will pay her one month notice and ask her to leave immediately.
If your kids are big enough, I will ask her to leave immediately! During the period, you can hire a temporary maid to help you.
Besides, always keep your personal belongings more carefully!

Actually I don't let her takes care of my 1 year old baby. All she does is cooking and cleaning in my house, but still I need a maid to work for me for long hours so hiring local maid cannot be an option.
I really hate that she denied so innocently ... the money won't just fly away, right? Too bad I don't have any evidence, but I warned her that if any money disapper in the house again, I'll call the police immediately without asking her. Do you think she will be scared by that ?

Use some marked money and put camera on this for testing, she will do it again if she is because she still thought that you have no evidence for this. Hire another one maid is your immediate action since you and your husband do not trust her any more (of course don't let her until your new maid is arrived).

I'm wondering if I should buy a small safe at home. Does anyone has a safe at home? Is it useful?
Also, about installing a camera, should I install one in the master bedroom and the living room as well? Last time she stole money in the bedroom as my husband was taking a nap in the sofa in the living room. And does she need to know that I have installed a camera to monitor her?
