如果父母都係香港永久居民又已入加藉. 個仔在加出世. 係唔係沒有可能取得香港身份証及回鄉卡?

甘父母雙方係咪都住喺 canada ? if yes, your son cannot apply la ~

my friend's son born in Canada as well, as I know when they applying 香港身份証及特區護照 for their son, her hunsband is still living in HK, so they can get it.

besides, lot of my friends are same situation with you ... they cannot get for their son as well !

If you are a PR or Canadian citizen, no. Unless the child was born before the handover to China.

Although kids of HKID holder who already become canada PR or canadian citizen when the kids was born do not have the ROA (Right of Abode) in HK, so cannot get HKID card and HKSAR passport and 回鄉卡.
But they still have the ROL (Right to Land) ie. They can live, work and study in HK. Just that they cannot vote in HK.

So, in reality, it doesn't really make much difference. Just like the PR and citizen status here in Canada.

Also, after living in HK for 7 years, they can get the ROA back.
