咁我諗你姨丈唔係有心點你，佢可能係自己諗所有嘢都重新開始，
舊嘅唔應該再用，但事實美國呢度會翻舊賬，好似如果有人瞞稅，
一捉到會被查最少7年舊賬，會罰足咁多年錢，所以呢度係要睇自己有冇嘢可以合法減稅，
而唔係睇吓可唔可以瞞稅，但偏偏好多人都唔報足稅或者諗住可以搵法律上灰色地帶。

仲有, 好多上一輩人都會只係道聽途說，你問佢地邊個講，可能佢地都講唔出，
或者只是一知半解，事實係完全兩回事，我自己D親戚甚至我父母都唔少呢D搞笑例子，
所以就要學好英文，自己去搵資料，而家網上搵料好方便，
唔好好似老一輩咁只係靠聽街邊人講咩就信。

Yes, it is C.I. because my parents were not born in HK.
I think that we can renew BNO in UK Embassy. You can check their website and see if there's a location close to you. I just find out that the one in my city is exactly in the same building of my office, so convenient but all the appointments will only be available 9am-1pm. And you need to have all the original documents including the going-to-expire BNO, original HKID and valid ID in here.

HeLLo Rose-mag, there is no BNO renewal service in here. I will need to dispatch all the docx to the British Embassy in Washington, DC., including Original HKID
