Hi Mibibi, when my daugher was 19 months old and had flu, I called the paediatric to visit her at our home (we were in overseas and the doctors there provide home consultation service). The peadiatric did a complete check for my daughter as it was his first time to see my daughter, and found that my daughter had the same problem u mentioned. The paediatric then did a quick cut on it and my daughter recovered after a few days. The paediatric said if it was discovered later, it will cause kidney problem.
Hi Mibibi, the doctor used a tiny thing which is like the one we use for cleaning up our ears to make a very quick cut last less than 1 second. My daughter cried a bit, and she cried every time she 'pee' for around 2 days. We had to apply a cream (given by the doctor) for a few days. U better get consultation again from another Peadiatric. Hope u can resolve this very soon.
