If my memory is correct, train is much cheaper.

I have been to Germany last summer for 2 Wks, I bought the German Rail Pass for 7 days, is only cost 249 EURO, (For First Class).

However, it cost around 10-20 EURO, for a bike for a day.

I made a quotation from AVIS, just for 2 days in Berlin, Germany.
