Urgent! Need some advise

My maid resign yesterday and leave my home today, but she refuse to compensate for the damage she made in our home which she originally agree to do so and now we are going to Labour Department tomorrow, any advise can you advise ? Any special things I have to take care ? I am really angry about her attitude !!!!

If she resigns without 1 month notice, she has to pay you wages in lieu of notice.

You shouldn't let her go if there is something not being settled properly between two of u! Is this the only area that u want to lodge the claim in the labour dept?

This is the only way we can do as she refuse to repay us and so our agent advise us to do this in Labor Dept. Also I think it will be very risky if we let her stay at our home (I have a baby with only 20 months and I am now being preg!)

問3.6 如傭工損壞僱主的物品，僱主可否扣除工資作為賠償？ 僱主還可從傭工的工資中扣減那些款項？
答: 如因傭工犯錯或疏忽而引致僱主的物品或財物受到損壞或遺失，僱主可按值扣除工資作賠償，但每次以300 元為限。此外， 在這些情況下扣除的工資總額， 亦不得超過傭工在該工資期所得工資的四分之一。

Do you think it worth to go to Labour Department for $300??
