Is she don't want to work with you and want to find a new employment? If she stay at agent, agent may request her to pay therefore she may want to stay at your home for free. You better let her give you a resign letter first and take her back to the agent without waiting one month notice to aviod her claim back one month salary. I don't thing she have the right to stay at your home without your premission.

I have the same case before, my maid has resign and I allow her to give 1 month notice. However, her behaviour is so poor that I want her to leave earlier but I need her to sign a letter that she agreed to leave earlier without any compensation. If not, she can claimed for the remaining salary until the last day. (confirmed with Labour Dept).
So for the 2nd maid resign, I only ask her to give me 3 days notice to avoid such situation.
The date of her earlier release date, you can allow her to leave earlier before she signed the letter for you, not after she signed with a termination date 1 month after.
