For books, I have bought a series of books published by "ladybird" called "Baby Touch" (on sale pageone at TST in ocean terminal). The drawings are big, simple and colourful and some parts of the picture are make of different materials (e.g. fluffy cloud - they use some white cotton wool like fabic to make the cloud, for pink mouse, they use pink fur-like material). Very stimulating for babies and good for getting them into the habit of liking books and reading. The "so smart " series from ladybird also has similar books, as well as lift up books (lift a picture and you see little birds hiding under it).
