I am not sure. My daughter was in hospital when I took that. I don't feel I have increase in milk supply. Till now, I could express 120ml only from both sides every 3-4 hours. The extra hour cannot help me get more milk. So I switch to pump 3 times in the office. But it is still not enough to feed my baby during the day as she drinks 200 ml each time.
I think it is effective. I hadn't taken it when my baby was in hospital the week before. The milk supply was dropped a bit at that moment. When my baby discharged from hospital last Wed, I started to take it everyday. The milk supply has been resumed to normal.
If you want to try it, you may ask Nillie to order it in US. Then you can take it when you will meet her later in NY.
I made iced milk and used avent cup (6oz) keeping in the freezer. But my baby only take 3 oz each time, then how can I defrost the iced milk without wastage?
how about keeping the remaining 3oz of thawed frozen milk in the fridge and feed to him in the next feeding time? the thawed milk can be kept in the fridge as iced milk for 24 hours.
Besides, if i can just pump 4 oz milk one time, should i put the 4oz in the freezer first and add the other 2oz in the milk cup after next pumping, or i should put the 4oz in the fridge first and put all 6oz in the freezer at the same batch. But how long can the milk be stored in the fridge before put it in the freezer and keep for 2 months?
