I am a mother too, with a indoseian maid, I work in airport as check in agent, I check in so many maid who go to wrok in middle east, I can tell you that they are totally different with those who work in HK.
Because normally they don't know english, but it is not a problem if they work in middle east, because there house is very large and they are rich, there family will hire so many maid so take care one family, may be one maid is only take care pets, one is mainly cokking, one is mainly take care garden, or wash swimming pool.
from my over 10 yrs check in experience, all of them don't know english, but the middle east people is not nice, very demanding even facing us (in airport), and their nationalties are man in charge everythings, women were low-level in family, espically maid, so I know that they can work very hard, and get only usd200 per month, (because I need to check their employment contract ). so they like to work in HK.
But it may be difficult to them to take care whole family in HK.
actually, hire a maid, maily see you are lucky or not.
