小女子真係才疏學淺...好想問吓 :mrgreen: ....兩個英文字既分別...如果分得出

大家就會好好(秘密)...最好如果有醫生等等醫護人員都幫手答吓啦

唔該~~
就係 "ill "同"disease"有乜分別....唔好睇少呢两個英文字呀 :mrgreen: 各位...我仲有十幾個鐘頭..真係好希望大家幫吓手

但我想知...兩者既分別...eg...傷風感冒發燒就可以叫"ill"...咁嚴重既又係咪叫"ill"呢??um...比如講...肺炎、癌症等等又係咪叫"ill"呢???咁diease係指乜呢???我好想知...關鍵就喺呢處呀~~~~~有冇醫生喺處呀???我今晚揾唔到果兩公婆....問唔到呀 :-(

i think ill is more general like flu or headache, while disease is more specific with some specific name like penumonia(肺炎), G6PD, 白血病, disease is something with specific disease PROCESS

Ill 係形容詞
Disease 係名詞

Ill 係形容病緊時既狀態，例如：I'm ill. 我病緊。

Disease 係名詞，例如：Aids, 我地唔可以當形容詞黎用, 如果唔係就會變成：I'm Aids (我係愛滋), 就錯晒。

I agree. They are of different part of speech. Ill is an adjective while disease is a noun.

But meaning-wise, they are very similar, I think,

Disease is Dis-Ease, ie, not feeling at ease!
Illness = Disease.

喺我嘅有限英文認知裡, 就咁分嘅 :

disease係泛指疾病, 但少用作形容病徵
illness (ill係形容詞, illness係noun), 一般會用黎形容因病嘅唔舒服.

illnesses可能會比較適合.

同意yeungyuihin咁講，ill 係泛指"病"，而disease係特別指(有名稱)的某種病，用得disease就可以講埋個名出嚟！
