I am still giving very very limited amount to my bb these days. However, I started to give her some formula when she's about 6 mths, and when she's about 9 mths old, she was only having a bottle of breast milk/day. And now, I've been trying to cut down my supply... so I can only produce about 3 oz per day, and I give her a bottle of 6 oz every two days only. Haha.
But yes, my BB has been having very good health (thank God, she actually has not even been sick, not even once... touch wood), so I know what you mean, although I have been producing so little and I could just stop any moment, but it's really a bit 唔捨得... anyways, good luck ... it's really a blessing for the bb to have breast milk for such a long period of time!
My bb eats 2 congees (lunch and dinner) and a bit of rice cereal or yoghurt for breakfast... and 3 bottles of milk / day. But now, only 1 bottle of breast milk /day.
You need to train your bb to sleep w/o sucking soon, the later you try, the harder it is. I trained my bb that way when she was about 7 mths as I needed to go for a trip when she was about 9 mths, so I had to push myself to do it.
Fortunately, my bb was very cooperative, it took us about a week to do so, at first, she had to cry for about 15-30 min before sleep, but you need to find ways to stop her crying, for example, giving her some toys, talking to her quietly, etc., and now, after playing for 10 min or so, she will just fall to sleep herself, very easy and very sweet. Also, it's better if the bb has a fixed schedule, so when time is up, she's tired automatically, that way, she will fall to sleep very easily.

Long time no see.估唔到我都重餵緊，不過由始至終我都係半人奶半奶粉．我中間大病左好幾次，每次停餵４－７日，攪到宜家都冇ｍｕｄ奶，成日加埋都得翻６－７oz.我好想餵到佢一歲,但係重有成3星期,都唔知堅唔堅持到.不過無論如何我book左6月18日做大check,到時一定要停la.我都有d唔捨得.
I plan to stop pumping tonite, cos' my bb didn't want to drink my milk this morning, so she wasted 3 oz of my milk (1st time like this), and instead, she drank formula ok. so I guess it's time to stop! 真不舍得, but I need to stop one day anyways.
Plus,... I had some yummy szechuan spicy food tonite, so my milk will taste spciy anyways!
