I am also a 2nd mom and my daughter is 4.5yrs. I am in Canada and a full time working mom. In here kids only go to kindergarten at age 5 and we have to pay for daycare before she start kindergarten this SEP.
I just start my maternity leave today and keep my daughter at home with me. My daughter keeps asking me why she is not going to daycare? Where is daddy? Why I am not working? Why daddy work so long? Too much to answer.
ARe you still working and when you plan to leave? My due date is 20JUN and my first pregnancy came 10days earlier and the doctor has told me the head has turn and the baby is ready. My husband is very nervous and I also 半夜扎醒訓唔到, but I remain in the bed as it is too hard to move around now.
Do you have easy time for 2nd pregnany? I have a hard time!
I am still working la, cos I have a client coming in town for an event in mid June, so I am trying to finish this event before I go on maternity leave. My EDD is 5th July but already booked for a c-section to give birth on 26th June.
My daughter just turned 5 last week and her summer holiday wont start until 29th June. However, she's very happy to know that I am able to spend the summer vacation with her.
Are you expecting a boy this time also?
My early stage of pregnancy wasnt so bad, but now I am getting VERY heavy, although I have only put on 19lbs. Everyone said my tummy is huge! It's really getting hot here in Hong Kong so I am trying to avoid all possible meetings outside the office, however, most of my clients are hoping to getting various things finalised before I go on maternity leave... sigh...

Yes, I am expecting a boy. I also gain around 22lb so far and I have difficulties to walk due to big tummy.
Did you have c-section before and that's why you plan to have C-section again?
I guess you have maid to take care of your daughter and you can relax after working. I am not and that's why I decide to stop now.
Just wonder if you found any different of your tummy since you have girl before? When I have girl my tummy is really round and the belly button is like a hole. Now, my tummy is very pointed and the belly button is completely reversed!
Our weather is not hot, highest is 28C and we dont even need any fan.
Yes, I couldnt make natural birth last time so I dont want to take the risk again.
My new maid is yet to come as I have just fired my maid who worked for me for 3 months. Hopefully the new one will come next week and hope she's good and clean.
Re my belly, it seems to be more pointy this time but neither times my belly button sticks out! I was reading some books and some commented that belly button sticking out is not a good sign .. (but I hv forgotten about the reason).
Lucky you wont need to use the aircon yet, it's terribly hot and humid in Hong Kong!

Just to let you know that my son was born on 8JUN 1.05am. He is 8lb 7oz! I have put my story in Canada mom forum and please feel free to read it if you are interested.
