my maid will finished contract at end of June and I have renewed contract with her, she will go back home for around 3 weeks, then start new contract from eaily July. I've paid for 2 ways air-tickets(inculding tax), immigration dept charge, phillipine consulate charge. Now she told me that I have to pay the charge for OEC, and said she can't come back to Hong Kong if not. Please help me, do any mom know what's that ??
Overseas Filipino workers who are going home to the Philippines and are returning to the same employer can be issued the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) which exempts them from payment of the Philippine travel tax and airport terminal fees in the Philippines.
Residents or dependents of residents who are employed in HK should secure a Certificate of Residency/Dependency and apply for a Travel Tax Exemption or Reduced Travel Tax.
The OEC is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance.

Passport with valid visa
Information sheet (form supplied)
Authorization letter (for representative)
Procedure for Issuance
STEP 1 Obtain information sheet at the Information/Security booth and fill up form.
STEP 2 Queue up at the designated processing counter and wait for your turn.
STEP 3 Submit documents and wait for the issuance of an official receipt.
STEP 4 Bring official receipt to Cashier's booth and pay the processing fee of HK$ 32.00 in cash.
STEP 5 Return to the same processing counter and surrender duplicate receipt to claim OEC and passport.
