but for Amnio test, there is a rapid report come out in three days to test T13, 18 and T21. and Final report for all the 23 sets will be out in one month. You mean you did not read the rapid test report but wait for the final report??
During the test, doctor said that rapid test did not provide 100% accurate....... and he did not suggest to do....
my wife and I agreed to wait for one month to have a confirmed result...
i think you made the right decision. I just got my rapid test report and the report result shows: inconclusive. so now i have to wait for the final report...so worry.
Sampling test is not equal to rapid test.
It is the test before the "sheep water test". If the result is not good, then, doctor will ask for "sheep water test".
Since rapid test does not full test, the report should not say OK... (avoid responsibility....). However, the rapid test have already tested the most important pairs. You should be safe. Don't worry.
Ohh IC..the sampling test means the Oscar - measure the baby neck skin and do blood test right.
but why didnt your wife the 抽絨毛, but chosed to 抽羊水? 抽絨毛 can do from week 11 to week 14 but rather waitied for so long to 抽羊水.
Ic...actually why we need the rapid report is to test the T13, 18 and T21 coz these three sets of hormosone gives 80% of the choromosone abnormality. And this test is done by PCR tech and it is 100% accurate. poeple wants the rapid test to decided if they still want the baby if nything wrong to the baby. You know, the bigger the baby the more dangerous if go for termination...
but for my case, PCR test is not able to tell me if my baby is okie..so have to wait for conventional type of culturing to determine loh...
as for others sets of rarely gives problem..
yeah..waiting time makes me crazy..my report will be out in one more week...so scared ah.
Why not 抽絨毛 ? *_*... We have registered since 6weeks.. it should possible... however, after several checking...(not the ....) , the 11 ~ 14 weeks has already passed... So, we have no choice... it is public hospital arrangement...
