I don't think you must have lots of cervical mucus to be able to conceive. In fact, many people don't get egg white cervical fluid. But i think with egg white mucus does make conception easier, in the way that it help sperms to swim towards the cervix and fallopian tube easier. Look up Evening Primrose Oil, it is said to help with increasing cervical mucus. But stop taking it after ovulation, because it will make the uterus contract. Besides, you don't have to predict oculation by observing cervical mucus. Charting temperature and using ovulation sticks work well for most people. Hope this help. Good luck. :-P
Personally, I feel like I actually see more mucus after taken 'Bak Foong' pills. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not. No harm trying, I guess. 'Yee Yan Sang' brand is quite good.
Evening Primrose Oil (EPO in short) is very popular nowadays I'm sure HK pharmacies carry them. I live in Australia and I see them in the supermarkets!

Even though I have not had to use EPO, I have one bottle at home. It's used to regulate female hormones and believed to be able to increase cervical mucus, which helps sperms to swim up your cervix to meet the egg.
I have the gut to buy it because my mum's been taking it for years and I see them in the supermarket. For your own confident, ask your doctor the next time you visit.
That I'm not sure. You may ask your doctor. It is a bit like Chinese herbs such as 'But Chan' and 'Dang Guay', never been proven to work for sure but some people found it good.
