Hi, sometimes my baby cries at nite, and for a few times already, I tried to talk back to her thru the baby monitor (without going to her room), I said: "Baby... it's time to sleep, sleep w/ your teddy bear, mommy needs to sleep and mommy loves you... " etc., then IMMEDIATELY, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, she became quiet ... just like that, and there's no more sound/crying thereafter, so she falls back to sleep... until the next morning.
I tried this a couple of times already, and it just works so quiet... that I worry that if I scare her. But I also think that if she's scared, she will be crying, right?
