the case is same as mine, when I know the visa date of my new maid, I give the current maid 1 month notice and give her reference letter that she can find am employer before go back, then 2 months later she can go back to HK to work.
if you have supporting letter to her, she can find job very soon. My maid had found a new employer within 1 week after she left and she had 1 more month salary.:lol:
My maid should complete the contract at Dec. And she decided NOT to renew contract with me, & go back Philippine to get marry. But now I've just signed a new maid today. So when I should let my old maid know about the termination??-( ?-( ?-(
if you want to keep the levy to new maid, the present one need to terminate before your new maid visa issued and will have a gap in between. If you pay the levy again, then you can have the new maid come and then terminate the previous one. You can neither give her 1 month notice or 1 month salary in lieu of notice.
