We were just back from Malaysia during the weekend.
After numerous times to KL, this was the 1st time (and
the last time) we stayed in Sunway Lagoon Hotel and
went to the water park. The kids (5 kids aged from 4-
14 loved it) however for adults, I would say, the feeling
was not so pleasant. There were too many people
although we were one of the very first batch to enter the park. There were long queues at each "ride".
There are 2 theme parks along with the water park but
there are different price for different combination of parks
you want to visit.
I would suggest to go on Wed (we went on Wed as well) as Tues is closed for weekly cleaning .
Night time around town is no problem at all.
