I bought PT7137, it can see in the home computer, but it can't see in the office or other friend. Do u know why? Someone said that it does not release the port to public, do u know how? PLS HELP!! Mny Thx!
You said you can see it in home PC. -> that means the LAN and wireless part are set up correctly.
But cannot see in office or other friend -> Please provide details. Are there firewalls in office or other friend's place? If no, should be router not being set up correctly. If there is firewalls, it may be blocked by firewall and maybe impossible to watch.

yes, u are right. it is the router problem. i don't know how to set up correctly cos i try several times and use different methods. can u provide some hints? thx
1. Enable UPnP at your router. (Check the router manual on how to enable the UPnP) and remove unnecessary port forward entries.
2. If you got one IP-cam only, you may just go to your IP-cam webpage, select configuration, then click network on the left, and check the 2 checkboxes named "Enable UPnP presentation" and "Enable UPnP port forwarding", then click the save button at the bottom.
3. The ports required to be forwarded should be automatically done and access from internet should be allowed (provided that you know the domain name or public IP address)

Other then uPnP , if you only have one cam, you can add " DMZ " in your router , before doing that , you have to assign a ip for your ipcam ,
see which router you are using , most of them should be 192.168.1.1 , like linksys , if you have D-link , it should be 192.168.0.1 , Buff is 192.168.11.1
say , you are using linksys
the setting is changed under " LAN " setting of your ipcam .
ip : 192.168.1.100
subnet : 255.255.255.0
gateway :192.168.1.1
DNS1:192.168.1.1 ( youe camera might detect this address automatically )
and then have the port setup , go to " Network " there should be http port and rtsp port . if you are using netvigator , change "http port " from " 80 " to 8000 , rtsp " 554 " to " 8001"
then , " DMZ " in your router should be 192.168.1.100 ( if you set 200 in your ipcam 's LAN setting , put 200 here , it stands for your ipcam )
that s fine . but don't forget to have a domain name with you , register from www.dyndns.com and filing the information in either router or camera " DDNS " , but remember that don't have the info filling in both of them , otherwise , your address will be blocked by dyndns.com
mny thx! i settle the first problem, my friend can see it, but it doesn't work in my office, snapshot only. it may be the problem of the firewall. it can't help right?
also, i can't watch by mobile 3g. "rtsp://............/live.sdp", am i correct? pls advice
Try HTTP mode (set in client setting window) in office. If it does not work either, then your office firewall is too strong.
For 3G, you should leave the RTSP port no. be 554, or you need to add the port number at the back of your address, e.g if you use port 8001 as your RTSP port, "rtsp://<domain_name>:8001/live.sdp". Also you should select 'configure for mobile viewing' at audio and video setting screen.
