Hi,

My maid will come to HK on 15 oct this month any idea how to calculate her salary ?? if i plan to pay her the end of 31oct month .

How to calculate is that hkd3480/31 days =hkd 112/per day x 16 days ? am i right?

also if in xmas time is that 22 deb n 25 dec is holiday for her ? at that time she just work for me only 2 mnths more is that she need to work ? and i just pay her the same amount right ?

To make it simple,
give monthly salary to her on 15 November

22 or 25 Dec
if she take leave - no pay

You just pay the salary on mid of each month, no need to arrange the payment day at the end of month.

我就用 $3,400 x no. of days x 12 / 365

btw, i'm not sure whether her salary payment should start from the day she arrived in HK or arrived and start duty at my home...
