I haven't applied any travel document for my baby since he was born last year. If I take him to Macau, can I only use his HK birth certificate to enter Macau and back to HK? Should I apply any travel document for baby if travelling to Macau? Many thanks!

Applying travel document for any person leaving HK is a must. HK Birth Cert. is only a identity document.
For going to Macau, you can
1. applying Re-entry HK Permit (take one day)
2. applying passport + ID Card (take about 2 week+)

Thank you so much for your reply! I will apply Re-entry HK Permit since it only takes one day. :-P If I get it right, baby can use his Re-entry HK Permit to enter Macau, am I right?

我啱啱同小朋友(3歳)去完macau返來, 正如Issac_Ma所講
1. 回港証(即日取証, 要小朋友親身前往):
a)一次
b)多次
2. 身份証+特區謢照(申請時間19working day, 5計sat, sun, 你可以選擇郵寄, 投表, 小朋友親手前往申請), 郵寄/投表: 取証時小朋友要親身前往取証

我自己的做法先郵寄申請身份証+特區謢照睇下時間趕5趕得切, 然後趕5切就去申請回港証
