the first time i've been requested to pay 20 cents for a bag was in markxt placx.....at that moment i just have 2 seconds shock and surprise.....however in the third second i was happily to tell the cashier i don't need any bag.....or if i really need one....i may glad to pay for it coz i'm quite sure this is my responsibility to EP....our earth....our children.....simply you pay the price!
but if i were the owner of those supermarket or superstore.....i'll invite some EP organ to place a EP fund raising box in each cashier.....or also let them put some EP promotion stuff nearby.....all we can know where our money donated will go and what for.....and i'm quite sure those owner wouldn't care about just a minor admin cost for doing that....coz in fact they can get a positive commerical image from doing so! :)
yes, and that's why I bring 2 shopping bags with me while I go travelling. It is really a good feeling that I've helped the earth to reduce unnecessary rubbish.
yes, I agree. this is good. if you want to have a plastic bag, you should pay the cost for the damage it costs to the earth. if you have your own shopping bag, no damage will be costed to the earth and you don't need to pay for it. very reasonable.

if i were fc of supermarket or superstore, i will relocate all related staff, admin, finance costs to a new sector to reflect the finance picture of doing this EP champaign.....the concept is good but the story behind is to maximise the profit by removing the costs to the new sector.
anyway, i support this EP activity....it's worth to get a chance to breath fresh air some decades later although i may have some inconvenice today......clean environment is just like timber once you burn it you can never get it back forever..............but i'd try my best not to pay any 20cents to them.
