just now 38.5C, after taking medicine, now 37.8C. how ? please help. is it normal?

I use the BRAUN ear thermometer to check. According to the booklet it says for baby 0-2years old, their temperature is normal from range 36.4-38C. so the 38.5C consider higher fever or not??? anyone has experience?

Dr says need to see Dr if the temperature go up to above 39C. true??

My confinement lady in fact told me to give baby fever medicine right after he is back from clinic regardless whether he has fever to minimise the chance of having fever..isit true? just want to know if i should do it in the future..

bb打針後發燒好common, 比佢食退燒藥就得. 我bb之前打歲半針(6合1) 都有燒. 食咗1日退燒藥就ok.
不過下次你可以試吓打針之前比開奶茶佢飲,等佢冇咁熱, 會好d. Don't give him fever medicine if he doesn't hv fever. it is useless.

上次有個mami sent 比我, 用耳探bb temperature 如下:

36.7-37.8 normal
37.9-39.2 fever
39.2 high fever

我個bb都係上星期日打完6合1發燒呀, 打完第一日最高去到99.5, 醫生有比退燒藥, 但我都冇比到佢食, 只幫佢沖涼抺身, 第二日就冇再燒了. 不過第一晚就完全冇得瞓, 要成日幫佢check住, 我都係第一次做人媽咪, 真係幾擔心架.

No need to take medicine if the baby's body temperature is normal.

No worry. Just give the medicine to baby according to your doctor 's instruction.
