Hihi,

My parents will come to London visit me for 4 weeks, but I only lives in London for 1 year, so not really familiar UK, I will bring them to Oxford st, China town, london eye and big ben, apart of the above place any good places suggest I should bring them ar? Don't want them too boring and only stay home ar, pls help!!

4 weeks? I don't think you can travel around with them everyday..... If they dunno English, I guess you will need some Chinese DVDs or even a TVB satellite channel to entertain them

By the way, some nice museums in London are free of charge. Or, you can make a short trip to Europe. Try to have a look at the websites like www.eurostar.com or www.lastminute.com

大英博物館, 泰晤士河遊船河,或者去吓D島仔如 Jersey, Guensey, island of wright 等(或者我串咗字) 或如Zenia 所言,去法比荷玩吓

trafalgar square (near chinatown)
covent garden (near chinatown)
buckingham palace
river cruise

harrods
national history museum (near harrods)

may be you can buy those sightseeing bus ticket, it's more relaxing than to travel around by underground.

how about day trips to oxford, windsor or bath, etc - a bit different from staying in london only?

可以帶佢地去一般旅遊景點丫, d 資料響網上好易搵到. 我去倫敦時, 響 london eye 附近見到有london duck tour, 架車係水陸兩用, 遊倫敦巿後落 river thames. http://www.londonducktours.co.uk/ 我去倫敦 4 日就玩晒, 之後去 cambridge玩, 你地有成個月時間, 可以去下 scotland, 或者英/法果邊玩.

我唔係英國媽媽, 但響荷蘭結婚時, 我既家人有去歐洲一般時間, 希望俾到少少 idea俾你啦. 果陣我地個安排係頭幾日響屋企附近既 city 行下, 等佢地習慣一下 d 天氣同時差先, 結婚之後, 我地咪一齊去德國玩左幾日, 玩完之後又 stay 番荷蘭果邊抖下, 之後又會留番響荷蘭但會去遠 d 既地方玩. 留響屋企/酒店果幾日時, 咪好似平時咁, 我地去超巿買野咪叫埋佢地一齊去, 等佢地睇下外國既超巿係點, 又帶下佢地去華人超巿就八下有咩野賣, 荷蘭果邊逢星期六有 market, 我地又會帶佢地去睇下. 有時夜晚我老公既家人會黎同佢地出去食飯.

我諗你既家人係旨在見下你地成家, d 老人家點都想知你既生活係點, 佢又鍾意比較下 d 物價等等, 所以你都可以 plan 出去玩幾日, 之後留響屋企幾日好似平時咁啦.

Hi bosch,

Thanks for your suggestion, I did bring my parents shop around london eye, china town.....also bring them to supermarket too, they do like to compare price, yes I agree they come most likely know our lifestyle here and 1st time see my daughter, they happy play with her.
