Recalled: Gap boys' jackets
Fri, Dec 27, 2007 (BabyCenter News) — Gap Inc. has announced a recall of about 16,200 boys' jackets, sold exclusively at Gap Outlet stores, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The jackets have a waist drawstring with a toggle that could become snagged or caught in small spaces or doorways, which can pose an entrapment hazard to children.
The jackets were sold under the name "Warmest Jacket." They are hooded, zip in front, and have a drawstring at the waist. They were sold in navy and gray in multiple children's sizes. "Gap Outlet" is printed on a label at the neck. Style number 513573 is printed on a white label near the neckline (behind the size and product care label).
Gap sold the jackets at its outlet stores nationwide from September 2007 through December 2007 for about $50. The garments were made in Indonesia.
