My maid suddenly resigned at last Sunday, she paid me one month notice.

My agent (she is my friend) introduce other maid to me, she worked in Singapore 3 years but only worked in Hong Kong 28 days. Agent really recommends her to me. Agent said that the maid lived in her apartment in Shenzhen around 1 month after broke the previous contact. Anyway agency said I can try her few days to check her performance. My family is very simple only me and husband, no child, no elder but we worked in outside everyday and back home late. I need the helper to clean the house and cooking only. If you were me will you try?

If only for cleaning & cooking, I prefer use 鐘點。

係囉, 點解唔請家務助理/鐘點?? 至少唔駛養多個人
就算請外僱, 都唔會請一個只做左28日就唔做既人啦

在港只做了廿八日就斷約一定有問題, 若無可否提供前僱主介紹信或電話給你查詢, AGENCY係你朋友就不會介紹一些不清不楚的給你. 只怕你當她是朋友,(AGENCY)不當你是朋友喎!

我只怕你給人誤導

若唔趕都係等那些完了約又有介紹信,可提供前僱主電話的, 又或朋友親自用過的完約工人就穩陣.
你屋企成日甘長都無人, 小心工人帶條仔上來搞嘢呀!

I also worry about this point, because actually nobody at home in daytime, I asked to my agency but she said the maid already lived in her apartment more than one month so she can guarantee her character is good!
My house already setup a web camera near the (front) door. My husband said that we can use the record function to check the maid.

佢地會炸炸帝扮抺野，撥咩個 cam gar。

she said the maid already lived in her apartment more than one month ．．．does it means no employer want to employ the maid? if she is good, no need to stay more than 1 month lar ....
