i'v been back to hk for 5 years now and i used to live in Toronto, well i'm not sure about now but when i was there, it's important that you pick a school that's in a good area..ex. North York, Richmond hill and Markham have a lot of good school. down town and scarborough are "mama dai"

3kids mami
not sure what summer course you sent your boy to, but my colleague's kids summer camp are full of "white " people... so guess it depends.
I have to admit if kids come to study at older age, they tend to mingle with those with similar background in order to get the "acknowledgement".
like us, we seldom mingle with the colleague as we hardly get into their conversation - hocky, basement, americal idol, amazing race, music and bands.. everything is diff - we hardly catch up. Same as the kids - they don't have those things back in HK, so diff for them to "go into" the local society.
yes, you're right, everywhere it's full of chinese!! maybe you should consider senting them to school somewhere off the city where there's no chinese ppl, or if you can afford it , sent them to boarding school
that's why if you're planning to sent the kids back to canada it better be when they're still young. my kids are 6 and 8 and i'm planning to go back with them in 2 years, in my mind it's still a liittle late(wish i can go now, i really miss there!!) but it's confusing because when i go back with the kids, my husband will still work in hk ...he doesn't want to be an astronaunt!!! and neither do i!!!:-( :-(
i used to live in scarborough before i came back to hk, after i came back, my mother(she's still there in TO), told me that scarborough if filled with "Dai Look Yun" (china ppl)!!! my mother has just moved to markham in may!!
My husband and I plan to stay in HKG for another 10 years + then go back to Canada. So any suggestions for bb's education? Is that better for bb to study at International school? Any thoughts?
