The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her second child, Clarence House has confirmed.
Prince William and his wife are expecting for the second time just over a year after the birth of their son, Prince George.
The unborn child will become fourth in line to the throne, pushing Prince Harry further down the line of succession.
Kate, who was hospitalised during her first pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum, is once again suffering from acute morning sickness.

Clarence House confirmed that she is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace and will miss a planned engagement with Prince William in Oxford today. It is unclear at the moment whether Kate will continue with a planned solo tour of Malta later this month.
It is understood that Kate has not reached the 12-week stage of her pregnancy.
Prime minister David Cameron said he was ‘delighted’ by the happy news, saying: ‘Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I’m delighted by the happy news that they’re expecting another baby.’
