現在我有間屋要租出，租客已睇了一次，如他們要租，我應該有甚麼要做及要注意甚麼呢？請教教我，謝謝。

1. ask what their jobs are and ask for proof, like business card. Ask for business, home and mobile number of at least 2 family members

2. avoid family with young children or single man or pets. They will make your flat very dirty and smelly.

3. Sign a formal contract and pay stamp duty. Then u are protected by law.

4. Ask them to pay by autopay if possible, so u don't have to call to remind them each month

If in doubt, don't rent. Better to rent later than rent to the wrong people.

The ususal down deposit is 2 months' rent. If they job is not secure, u can ask for more.
