I had a similar problem before but it was 2-3 calls from
the same number everyday. I called PCCW to see what
they could do for me, and there only solution was to
change mobile number. They said only fixed lines can
block certain callers from calling but it doesn't work for cell phone numbers.
Eventually, i bombarded them with sms msg and phone
calls and told them to stop calling .... then it stopped.
There's no point calling the police. Wait until March and
there's this new law where you can report that number to
the one of the departments and they will block it.
Hi, I get into your topic as I did that to my colleague last year (without noticing it). I worked in a big company with 24 sales staff and we all got a mobile ph fm the company. The admin staff has pre-set all the sales staff ph nbr into my ph. One day someone called me, with a v annoying voice said I had sent sms to him 30 times a day. I said i did not do that but he kept on calling to say I had. Eventually he complained to the ad manager and she found out that all the sms was comming fm me. Apparently Ihave Adrian's nbr in the top of the phone list, and i put my ph in the leather folder which I did not notice it press on menu, message, names, and then the person (Adrian) and sent out blank sms to him. It really can happened. at least I was foolish enough to do that. But yr case is strange, the caller shld pick up the ph, or u may try sms him/her to stop it. I learnt a gd lesson and remembered to lock my ph fm then on - it was the first day I join the company and the whole office thought I was a funny one to send sms to a new colleage of opposite gender..... v embarrassed. gd luck.

I did this too!! when i am traveling in Australia.............I keep sending blank sms to my friend in HK named "Alan", because he is the first name in my contact list, and I didn't notice that I keep pressing the "send" button by accident, these sms charge me a lot of money!! how stupid I am, this really will happen, not strange at all, just very stupid.

That happens to me when my friend told me I have called his mobile (not SMS) many times but did not talk on the phone.
I later found out that his name happens to be the first name on my telephone book and accidentlally I have triggered the button when I bent my body. The phone is a Nokia and kept inside a leather pouch on my waist.
So after that incident, I have left the first number empty in my phone book and it never happens again.
