My husband and I are planning to move to Vancouver in 2016. We are woried about finding decent jobs there. Hope to get some advices/ suggestions from this group~ Many thanks!!
Some basic background:
My husband is a Canadaian citizen (currently claimed as non-resident), and I am not. I work in event/ marketing field, my husband works in hotel industry. Both of us has 12+ years of working experience in our fields. I have a US under-grad degree and a HK master degree, and my husband has no university degree.
Questions are:
1) Are we able to find jobs that are related to our fileds? (Event/ marketing and hotel/ F&B related)
2) As we don't have Canadian experience, is it a big deal?
3) Related to Q2, do we have to start from the bottome of the career ladder again?
4) Any idea about the salary/ wage ranges in our field/ related field?
