因為係第二胎 + 上又相同性別. 暫時咩野都未買, 未開始洗$$

上胎就洗左幾皮囉, 車仔 + 床仔 + high chair 加埋都成皮. 好彩, 我無c+ 車唔洗買 car seat

I have bought lots of clothes, my BB niece also gave me lots of her old clothes. I can save $1800 on a high chair because my relative will give her used Combi one (only used a few times) to me. I think I will take my niece car seat ($2400!) which she hasn't used before.

I am continuing to ask my relatives/friends for BB gifts. Already asked my friends to give my BB something useful (like milk bottles, blankets), but they bought my BB clothes, which I got a lot already.

Still a lot of things to buy for BB

我都係第二胎，所以好多嘢都用得，奶樽因為衛生問題都係買新好d，上次去bb展都用0左$500買d雜項

we have bought the following items for the 2nd baby.

1. diapers $20
2. bottles ~$400
3. clothes ~$400
4. Grobag $200
5. a twin stroller for both babies ~$3000
6. a new breast pump + some milk bags ~$2400
7. a gate barring both babies from kitchen ~$300

planning to buy a rocking high chair for 2nd baby. almost completed the shopping list. probably, no more big money to spend in the near future.

Later have to pay operation fee if give birth in C+ hospital. Also the Pue Yuet tim..just these 2 expenses add up to 70k la!

I have bought only cheap clothes for BB (bought all at 50% off), stroller costs only $1500 (nearly the cheapest in Chicco) except BB bed (super expensive- $8400!!)

One of my friend's father jotted down how much he spent on his daughter since my friend was born. After her father's death, she found out this record book, she was very unhappy. Haha, we have owed our parents so much, not only financially, but also the heart, soul and time they spent to us.

yeah. we owe our parents alot. i understand why ppl say mothers are great after i become mother, esp. i breastfeed.

I bought the bed in a shop called Art Deco (they have a shop in TST Harbour City and one in Wanchai), it is made of solid wood, with hand painted fairies (customer can choose the pattern themselves). I think it looks quite nice and well-made. They have some very special designs child beds, most expensive one costs 30k+! All are made in China though.

My BB bed is actually a bed set which comprises of BB bed, a maid's bed and 3 drawers' cabinet. I like the design because it saves a lot of space. The BB bed can turn into an adult bed, so my child can use it till 10 years old. My BB room is very small, so have to buy this set or else cannot fit in all furniture. The set itself costs $7950+$4xx for bed mattress (bought in another shop).

If I have a second child, I will just buy a 1k bed. I guess normally parents would spend more on the 1st BB. The second BB will just wear old clothes and use old stuffs of the 1st BB.

I think raising up a child needs a lot of $$. So have to re-consider if shd have only 1, or 2.

wah... Your BB bed is very expensive but considering that it is composed of BB bed, maid bed, cabinets and can let BB sleep till 10 yrs old, I think it's okay!

For my BB, I think I will use a basket given by a friend tentatively as we'll be moving very soon. After that, perhaps I will get BB a nice bed?

I feel a bit regret buying that bed ga, but given there are a few units, and can used up to 10 yr old, I feel better.

My Pue Yuet is 22k full time (24x6 days). But won't expect she will work for 24 hours because she needs to sleep. I am very sure my Pue Yuet is very lazy, here are the examples:
- she said she will ask my maid to prepare all the food (e.g. cutting, chopping, seasoning), she said she is only in charge of cooking (only cook the food for me to 'bo sun', but not cook dinner etc).

-I asked her to boil 'geung cho' for me, she asked for 1 full days' salary and boil at my home (i.e. $850 daily salary). She asked me to have my maid to buy all the food (ginger and 'cho'), plus peel all the ginger.

If that's the case, I can have my maid to boil lah! Why ask her ah. So now I've decided to buy the 'geung cho' in Pat Chun loo, save my time, money and energy.

My Pue Yuet is so 'dai siu lai'!

though i have not seen the bed, Art Deco has good reputation and design should be good. just enjoy using it! bed is a durable item, anyway.

i also recommend you to buy readily made "keung cho" to save all the trouble. the ingredient of "keung cho" is not cheap. unless you want those ginger skin to make water for bathing, otherwise, buying readily made "leung cho" is wise. but you need to book in advance.

don't think too much la, esp. you have decided to use this pui yuet. just enjoy the maternity leave. our mood easily fluctuate after delivery. let others handle the pui yuet stuff. otherwise, you will feel very upset when you need to face the pui yuet for long hours every day.

Actually you already knew that Pue Yuet is no good, why dun you just simply fire her? Paying 22K for her is very expensive!
