hi, my baby has just turned 8 mths last week. during the nite, he has suddenly started to sleep on his side abt 2 weeks ago, is this normal & safe? we tried to turn him back to sleep on his back, but he would turn to the side again on his own.
pls advise if this happened to your babies too! thx!
If his nose is not blocked by quit and pillow, sleeping in one side is o.k. Don't worry. But if he lays on face downwards, you must turn his body back.
My baby started to sleep on the side since he was 5-month old (He is now 9.5 month old). He seems to be enjoying it. My boy only likes to sleep on the side, and never sleeps with the face down. I think it is absolutely ok if the baby sleeps on the side and if he likes it. But if the baby is sleeping with the face down, it is safer to turn him back with the face up.
