Hi all mothers,

I arrived at Los Angeles on Mar 31, 08. However, I
have a problem right now. The immigrant officer has
forgotten to stamp a I-551 at my passport. We have
made a phone call to the immigrant dept and they said
that we could wait for green card only.The green card
will be sent to us on Early of May. It is ok if the
immigrant officer forgot to stamp it on my passport. We
concern that he forgot to put our information to the computer system. It means we lose the green card
idenification
Anyone have such this experience or any ideas what shall
I can do right now.

照我所知, 佢哋唔一定stamp I-551 on passport 架喎.. as 而家巳computerise..
你有document 喺手, 而你call 佢哋時, 佢哋又知你係邊個, that's mean 佢哋有你info..
GC.. 你唔會帶出街呢.. unless necessary. 但你要make copy 放好, just in case 火"捉"冇咗間屋.. 你有copy 喺手..
去bank 開個check account, cash credit card, safe box.
之後去做driver license.. anything else, 我會喺移民監forum 幫你

Thank you for your help. Yes you are right that our family received the welcome letter and green card. I plan to put them into safety box.
