Back to Philippines?

I'll employ a new maid after her contract with existing employer end on 31.5.2004 . I have heard that they have to go back to Philippines after they finish the two-year contract and apply the visa again before they can start work with a new employer. Is it true? Is it a MUST?

I desperately need a helper as my maid will leave in the early May! :-(

你可以叫agent幫你申請 extend 她的Visa 一年,but 一年後,她一定要leave HK 7日先可以返

係呀!!如果要同工人續約依家會有兩個情況
1. 工人如果於第一個合約完後有返原居地,跟住先返香港幫你打工,咁佢既新visa會係兩年
2. 工人如果於第一個合約完後無返原居地,直接上工,咁佢既新visa只會係一年,當佢差不多做夠一年,你要比佢出境,然後返香港既時候入境處會批第二年的visa比你既工人

How about if the maid had already returned to Philippines in the middle of the existing contract (i.e. last year), whether the Immigration Dept will grant the new visa for two years?

The answer is Negative.
